While it isn't a productive thing to constantly fiddle with your trading plan, it is good to review your results against reality.
On a regular basis or when results are waning, check to see what pigs you have put lipstick on. Despite your best efforts, you sometimes have them and no matter how much lipstick you apply, it doesn't make the result pretty.
